That rule is the same at my school what else are you not aloud to do around your chromebooks?
Drinks!!! I once spilled a very sticky drink on my brand new laptop (A full glass!!!). I had to let it dry for 2 weeks and I was soooo scared it would never ever work again. Luckily it did!! The keyboard was so sticky for years though, which made it very hard to type long stories. I would never ever have sticky drinks next to my laptop again…
